I have a new doubler kit I'm putting together this week end. FWIW, I'm using a 31 spline Ford input in the 205. The new ORD intermediate shaft has no hole for the brass retainer pin that was in the stock 203 shaft. The instructions show the Gen I and show the pin being used. I'm wondering, do I have a bad shaft where the hole was missed? Or, more likely I think, the pin is no longer required in the Gen II.
