I got a set of rims. All I know is they came off of a 1995 454 equiped sub. They are 8 on 6.5 and have about 4.25" BS but I'm not sure of the height x width.

my 1/2 ton has 16x7, I would think the 8 lug would be at least as big.
did you ask in the injection section of this site?

I actually think the 8 lugs were narrower than 16x7 But in that ballpark.

Most rims, especially factory versions, had the size stamped on them somewhere. Often it is on the inside (i.e. can't see it if tires are mounted but doesn't sound the case in this situation).

Factory rims of this era are generally 16x6.5. However, about 45 seconds with a tape measure will tell you for sure.

I'll look for the stamped size. Thanks. Measuring rims isn't as easy as it sounds. Especially when there can be a size difference of .5" (16 or 16.5).

Pretty sure you won't find 16.5"s from the factory on anything since the 70's at the latest. ("Anything" being defined as passenger cars and light trucks.)

Though determining the width with a tape measure always drives me nuts.
