I am buying a Rockford Fostgate EPX2 with 28 Band eq for 300 with shipping, is this a good deal, and what kind of goodies can this thing do? Couldn't pass it up for that $$$, Crutchfield has it for 859 for the base and 329 for the 28 band eq card retail.

If it aint a Chevy don't raise it up!

Damn! you got a good deal...
That semi-little gizmol you got there will do better than any of the old cross-overs made back then.
    Check it out:
The EPX2 was some kind of cross-over remote right in front of you, basically it had a display unit that shows you how much bass or treble you are putting out, instead of going to your tailgate and ajusting your cross-overs to your certain specs, the EPX2 has some buttons on the display unit from which you can ajust it, so you don't have to waste time going back and forth trying to figure out whats best for you.
The Unit also had two plug ins as optionals, the 14 band EQ chip or the 28 band EQ chip in which you have which makes it quite a masterpiece for you system.
This unit has been out for a couple of years now and it's still new on the market, give it a try, you might like it, just don't blow off your shell, just hate to see a truck with good sounds that fell apart because he didn't turn down his boom box.

PS: Is there anymore like that around,
I sure can use one right now.
