Somewhere within the past week or two browseing through the web, magazine or, a catalog I ran across a tubing coupler for in a roll cage. The coupler appeared to slide into the end of the pipe and weld fast. The coupler was in two pieces and when the two pieces were welded to the two sections of pipe the would then interlock together and a bolt would somehow hold it in place. I can't remember where the heck I saw this thing. Mabye I dreamed it. :D If any of you know what I am talking about and where to find them it would be great. Thanks :burb:

Excuse my stupidity...but this is a for a detachable roll cage right? I've been trying to figure out something like this as well.

Maybe for removeable sections, like snap-in-and-out tube doors?

So it's not feasable to weld in the "whatevers" to the floor/frame and then be able to unbolt the 4 or 6 or how many legs to the cage and take it out when you're running with your top on?

Like these?

Hmm. Had not thought of that. Don't say "weld" and "roll cage" though, or all hell will break loose with that discussion :D

What's a Blazer with a top? :haha:

Yep stomper shows the ones I was thinking of. They are nice for engine cages and such.
