Attend if you can, public input and consultant comments will be exchanged from 1pm to 3pm in the county library in Placerville, I'll poost more info ASAP

    Here's the low down..

El Dorado County received some OHV grant money to do some Rubicon studies, General Services has hired some consultants to first of all get the publics input and then put together a Base Line Study of the Trail. From the Base Line Study and public input will evolve a Rubicon Trail Master Plan followed by a Rubicon Trail Management Plan to help manage the use of the Rubicon trail. The Rubicon Trail Management Plan is needed to properly deal with the sanitary and erosion concerns on the trail which may be a result of the recent increase of users and lack of maintenance.
