They protect the both the Pinion and Driveshaft Yoke and the Ujoint. They mount on the pinion...

Got it, I looked up the piece. I am dumb as a box of rocks when it comes to vehicles. I can drive the hell out of them and I know enough to know when it doesn't drive right I have a good idea of what is wrong. This place is a great place for my self education. Thank you for your help.
