I am about to set my new saddle fuel tanks into thier perspective brackets, with new straps and everything. I purchased a set of ant-squeak pads for each tank. I know where the pads for the tank straps go, but there is a set of wider pads, which came with the pad set as well. I am not positive where these wider pads would be placed, or if I need them at all. My truck has an ORD 1" body lift, so the tanks are not in close proxemity to the body anymore. The LMC truck web sites placement illustration on where these wider pads go is not exactly to scale, thus a little confusing.

If...they are the same width as a blazer rear tank strap...you can get rubber ones with channels to hold them in place from Freightliner. The old FL70's straps used this rubber styler strips.

I have already put the tank isolator padding on the tanks. I am only going to put them around the tank strap and bracket area.
