Salvage titles in Texas

I know there was another post about salvage title but it wasnt about Texas. Can a vehicle with a salvage title be restored and street driven legaly here? How much would it cost me if it could be? I want a 4x4...any 4x4... and I plan on swappin everything out eventually anyway so... Thx

A slavage title is no diff. than one that is free and clear in Texas. It just needs to pass state insp. and will need a green sheet if it had an out of state title. I sure think what I'am telling you is true but you can call any title office and they can tell you for sure. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Salvage titles do not keep vehicles off the street in Texas. They only affect resale. Disclosure purposes. /forums/images/graemlins/burb.gif
