I thought all the bans were supposed to fix the problem?
Why do we get blamed for everything?
Canada is spelled with a capital "C" !!
A: What a bunch of horsesh*t
B: I want a bullet proof baseball cap, where do I get one?
How do you get that? Wouldn't it be heavy and awkward looking?
be quiet kanudian.
lol, yeah yeah. I think Bush should blame Canada for exporting liberalism/socialism into our country... its way more destructive than our guns ever will be to Canada.
LOL...this was on pirate...
Na, I don't want no stinking gun. I'd rather beat your skull in with my bare hands. Thank God for anger management, lol.
So is CopKiller. So knock it off. Quit shootin people up there. No wonder you are trying to move down here....too much heat for your kanadian mafia that you started. Eh!
Toronto is a ****hole. Please don't form an opinion of my country based on what happens there. That's like me deciding that all Americans are looters based on the footage I saw after Katrina wiped out N.O.
Geez, I expected better from you guys. Since when do you fall for a sensationalist headline?
If it's a national problem or not, I still don't understand how the United States is to blame...
I believe the premise is as follows:
1. Handguns are NOT readily available in Canada, legally or otherwise.
2. The majority of Canadian gangs and criminal outfits are subsidiaries of larger US enterprises.
1 + 2 = the handguns PROBABLY came from the USA.
Does that mean the average level-headed Canadian BLAMES the US for the problem? No. It does, however, provide our elected officials(who can't get a handle on the problem) with a hell of a scapegoat.
It's pretty simple, really. Like I said, just because some idiot in Toronto and a Liberal Canadian magazine start spewing anti-US crap doesn't mean that the rest of the nation embraces that sentiment........
Where I live in the US , the majority of the gangs have links to the countries below both of us . And we have guns , drugs , and even people smugglers from there
I understand completely what you are saying and agree of course, but the way the article is written makes it seem as if the United States, as a country, is to blame for knowingly and purposefully sending our guns to Toronto. Yes, the guns likely came from the US, but not because it was the desire of the majority of our population to do so. The article would have been better written if it claimed the guns are coming from criminals in the US, rather than making the US sound like a bunch of lawless gun slinging gangsters. The "gun culture" of the US is not to kill people.
You'll notice how the writer of the article made the above blanket statement without ANY kind of factual or statistical backup. It's yet another example of a liberal journalist with an obvious agenda writing an article that he hopes will sway public opinion in his favor.
What an A-Hole........
I hope you know I was just kidding around. California get bashed so much I have to lash out against somebody. I love western Canada. I'm still going to make it up there someday. I owe you a white russian.
You've taken part in the desecration of our flag. You no longer owe me a drink........
........because, as punishment for crime, you now owe me TWO drinks!!!!!
Not to mention the editor sucks. How did he get away with "neighbour?"
hey, what can you expect from Yahoo news... eh?
Anyway, I don't have anything against Canada. In the grand scheme of things, you guys are good to go. Especially western Canadians. Lots of french-speaking socialists out east tho...
No offense to our good buddies to the north was meant/intended... just thought it was an eye-opening story and an even more revealing statement about the leftwing media.
