I have the roller lifters, centering plates to hold them strait, spider looking bracket and bolts to hold it all down to the block and new compcam push rods. everything to install a rollercam in a 86 and later roller block. i was goin to install this stuff in my truck.( It has a factory roller block with a standard camshaft in it ) but have decided to go with a 383 crate engine. $125 + shipping Takes it /forums/images/graemlins/deal.gif

How do you know if you have a factory roller block? The reason I ask is I could see putting an LT1 cam in the stock TBI block and see how it does if it doesn't perform well you could do a TPI swap....Let me know...

the only way i know of is to pull the upper intake manifold and look in the lifter valley. if there are 3 threaded holes goin down the center and the block is machined flat along the top if the lifter holes you have a factory roller block. /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif

Maybe I'll go to the bookstore and see if I can see some casting numbers for roller blocks and see what I have. Wierd you'd think all 350's in 89's would be the same...
