Sealant for 241 Transfercase halves

What sealant do you use to seal the 2 transfercase halves together.

Could I use J-B Weld 31919 RTV Black Silicone and Adhesive? or is there something better?

I used anaerobic sealant the last of three times I had my 241 apart after the other attempts at sealing failed.

I also like anaerobic fi you can get it. We use it on snowmobile engine case halves here with great results.
