Anyon fized a stuck drivers seat belt that does not retrack. I;ve been told that a cam breaks in the unit and causes it to bind.

From what I've seen of the belt mechanisms, when they come apart, (as in trying to disassemble them) that's it, they aren't going back together. It should be pretty simple to find another used one.

Just go to a junkyard and get another one or from a friend. Or better yet get you a 4 point harness

They no longer make new ones (OEM). I would be interested in repairing mine with some junkers I have.
