did a search but didnt find anything on this....

anyone know if there's a source for replacing the spring for the middle row seatbelt retractors on a 91 burb?

one side is finicky and the other side the spring came all apart so the seatbelt is useless.

thanks!

that must be for a lap belt only then?

mine is the shoulder/lap combo on the left and right outer for the middle row.

that might work though...

send me a PM with what you want for it

...

btw....yes, i did check with LMC...
they have a generic kit but i was hoping to replace the spring since the belts were fine just the spring was bad.
thanks for the suggestions!

I have one that doesn't like to retract well. I have found that if you push downward on the cover, the belt is a little more willing to retract. It doesn't get used often though, the child seat stays buckled in that seat most of the time.

Yeah mine was tricky like that too which is why I was checking out the spring which then decided to unravel itself from the retractor......I think ill see what the junk yard has to offer....that is if I can get it out without wrecking it!

GM probably used the same spring in a lot of car/trucks. You can try taking it apart in a Grand Am or something... if you break it, no big deal, lol.
