So I'm about ready to fire up my new TBI engine and for some reason I've been assuming the SES lead coming off the ECM goes to one side of a light bulb and I'm supposed to ground the other side of the light bulb.

But I've never actually seen this in a wiring diagram. Can anyone confirm how the SES light is actually wired up? I don't want to fry it.

I've also got two wiring diagrams which list the fuse size for the contant hot battery lead. One say 20A and the other says 10A. Anyone know for sure? My plan was to start small and change if needed.

The computer provides the ground for the bulb, so the other side needs switched power. I usually splice into the pink/black wire for power.

The fuel pump is powered off of the constant hot (orange) wire so you'll need at least a 15 amp but no more than a 20 amp fuse.
