The pallet the cnc mill came on is a really very nice and very heavy duty pallet. I asked if we could keep it, and the delivery guys said its yours. So I figured it's a perfect base for a shed for material storage. It measures about 6' 6" X 10' 6". I picked up a bunch of 2 x 4's to frame up four walls and a barn style roof. I primered the top of the base and will primer the bottom too so it's sealed wood. I also primered the bottom of the 1/2" hardwood plywood I layed down for a cleaner floor look then the 2 X 10 planks the top of the pallet is made of. They have holes and knots and it just doesn't look appealing. So I figured I'd deck it. Looks great now. Still need to drive in a bunch of screws but its to an unsafe heat temp outside now so I'm done till later this afternoon. It hot to the point of profusely sweating non stop and I can't aford to lose that mush water weight, so I have to stop.
Everything will get painted. Also, instead of the 4 x 4's on the bottom of the base resting on the ground, I want to get 4, 2 X 6 X 8's of the plastic Trex wood so it's plastic on the ground. Where this will sit pools up with water when it rains so it will eventually rot even painted wood as you all know, so I thought the trex wood would be great as "skids" on the bottom since they won't rot. I'm going to frame the four walls first then just stand them up and pre-drill and lag bolt into the pallet base so the walls are hella strong. Going to use some 5" X 3/8 lag bolts and washers. I need to skil saw off the remainder of the decking too. Used 3, 4 x 8 sheets of plywood. Placed two full width sheets at both ends and squared them up, and cut a 31 & 3/4" wide piece out of the last sheet of plywood and fit it between the other two sheets and made the seems nice and tight. Will only have the two seems in the floor. Can't wait to get this thing done!

. This is so they can't snoop. I'm sick of this heat though, but I'll still make progress in it regardless.
