Should I buy this Blazer?

It’s the best of what you've posted thus far.
Private seller? Go drive and buy.

Yes. private seller. You think it's worth $10K? I'm going to try to talk him down a little bit....

Ya that's what I was thinking myself.... Going to see if I can get out to look at it tomorrow.

Drive it and dont baby it. Get on it a couple times, take some video or pictures and post it. Look under the hood while its running and underneath look for leaks, knocks etc. but honestly any “sound” can be fixed. Shaking at higher rpm etc.

Others here have far more knowledge/experience than me especially with Blazers.

Obviously the springs have been replaced at some point, might be a 2” lift can’t really tell. You can see in the first pic he sent you the scrape marks on the spring hanger and also the factory springs have tapered ends not square. Not saying it’s bad but the springs might be cheap stiff ones like Rancho or Rough Country. Also the spacers on the t-case cross member should be on the bottom side of the x-member (frame, x-member, spacer, then nut). Probably did this to correct the driveline angle and fix a vibration. Again, not a bad thing it’s just a cheap solution and something to keep in mind.
Don’t forget to carefully look at the frame where the steering box mounts and also at the frame where the shocks mount for cracks.

Isnt that spacer usually moved like that to accommodate a lift as well for drive line angle from the lift?

Thanks guys! I'll definitely take some video and let you know how it goes..... going to try to get out there this weekend at least. it's about an 1 1/2 hour drive...

That is the best one you have posted so far. Now we’re talking.

That last one was a lot nicer than the first one. I looked at the first one a while back and thought "lipstick on a pig". I do audio as a hobby so I typically zero in on wiring when I'm looking. My rule of thumb is if there are corners cut on wiring then there are corners cut elsewhere (usually in more expensive places).

I did not read everyone’s posts but I saw the video of the Blue Blazer. It almost looks half hearted finished. Too much money to have to go back and redo stuff. I bet the wiring is a night mare.

My saying lately has been "the first money to invest in a vehicle is a plane ticket." Now I say that because I live in the rust belt, but it can hold some truth anywhere. It's crazy to limit your search to within a couple hours of home when a much better truck or deal may cost just a days time and couple hundred dollars. If you're shopping for something on every corner like a 2010 Silverado that's one thing, but as the vehicle becomes less common the search has to widen. Especially in our modern age when a seller can send videos or other locals can stop in to kick tires for you.
