Should i go to 42's?

there are a few places a guy should not cheap out on a truck like this. Just leave it safe until the steering can be done right. Broken steering on a dd = you having a good possibility of hurting other people on the road or trail and giving other groups one more reason to not like lifted/offroad trucks. If I saw a half assed steering setup on a lifted truck next to me, while I'm driving with my kids especially, there is a good chance I would talk to you about it. Brakes and steering= not the place to cheap out or be good enough. This is the kind of stuff that was just talked about in some of the blazer bash threads of what people should not show up with and expect to wheel. There are plenty of other ways to save money. Just not here. Just my 2cents worth. If you are having fun now, keep having fun and start acquiring parts for the future, just cause you have new parts doesn't mean they need to be put on today.

yup, steering and brakes are 2 not to cobble together.... trying to run 42's and push/pull would have been stupid..

save your coin and do it the right way... accumulate all the parts, then bang it out in a day/weekend...

$250 for a pallet of them(how many tires are on a pallet?),..& from where? i can't find them around me, i can find the 53'' Michelins, but not the 42's...the closest place I've found them was in Texarkana, which is 5-6 hr drive 1 way, but if i could get multiple sets cheap, it maybe worth the drive...

i'm sending you a pm so we're not selling stuff in the garage.

Where are you in CA? Texarkana is only a few hours from LR. I will be back in Conway from FTW T-day if you need anything hauled up.
