Show me your pickup

Just for people that want to spew out useless comments when they don't even have their own setup in working order. Isn't that the phrase "The pot calling the Kettle black"?

[/ QUOTE ]

False. Every mechanical object is prone to fail eventually. Just because mine failed recently has nothing to do with whether or not I'm going to comment on your pickup or not.

[/ QUOTE ] Reread my post, I never said my dodge cummins never fails mechanically, everything will eventually fail on any vehicle. I basically said those are big words from a guy that doesn't even have his own setup in working order. Words like "hypocrite" and the phrase "the pot calling the kettlle black" come to mind about you. How would you feel if someone in a 2wd S10 walked up to you and said your K10 didn't belong anywhere near a trail and was way to large for any kind of real wheeling. Knowing he probably has never even been in a 4wd, much less a fullsize and basically has no idea what the hell he is talking about.....wouldn't you wnat to tell him to stuff himself back into his s10 and get the heck outa here? So, if you go and actually ride in a Dodge cummins and use one towing, pulling, etc and have real world experience with one come back and say any thing you want about what you didn't like about, You would have my full attention. Until then sit in your C30 and have a warm cup of..... /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif Oh, and for a response to your comment, I'll take my fiberglass sport front end over the standard GM bumper anyday.

Not everything is a, "Mine is better than yours" arguement. Go post your Dodge on TDR, and if you like your Dodge so much better than your old GM trucks, go over there and stay there.

There are plenty of people here that are against hacking up vehicles and are even into the show truck stuff a little bit. None of them are as vocal or as attacking to the nore "hardcore" crowd as you are. As you continue to wonder why you get flamed for being the blingmaster, and nobody comes to your aid, understand that there are a number of members here that probably agree with you, but because of the manner in which you come across, they're not going to come to your aid.

Some examples of this would be the fact that you post a picture of a 10" lifted rig with 35s every time someone asks how much lift on a truck to run 35s on the trails. Trust me, just because you don't think that truck is tipsy doesn't mean squat. I had 16" wide tires on my rig and it ended up on its side with only 9" of lift.

Keep spewing your crap, I really don't care. My tow rig is paid for, I built my trail rig myself with the help of a few friends, and when I can afford to pay CASH, I am going to have a Ford Superduty.

But it is a giant underpowered fullsize gorrilla Sunday my buddy with a Zuki said it not only sounds like a tank, it wheels like one too

[/ QUOTE ] yeah and he also has to carry a prybar to get the zuki's and geo's out of his fenderwell's! /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif

THis was about Pickups, not who likes bling or about who is hardcore and who isn't. /forums/images/graemlins/shame.gif Quit bouncing around off topic.

I post pics of my K5 when people ask about clearing 35's. I never say it would be a good heigth for trail use. It works great for me because the heigth keeps my body out of the mud but I would never run it down a twisty, off camber trail.

You're the one that spews the crap, that is why I am always reponding to your idiot comments.

Well I was wheeling at night at mclean creek park on a dirt bike trail, and I rolled sideways down a steep embankment, luckly the tree stopped me. Also my idiot friend wasnt even wearing his seatbelt! No one was injured though.

Here is how I got it out, borowed a friends winch from town, also had to cut down a few trees /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif.

After spending five minutes at six grand back and forth the longside aborted itself. I spent a while looking for the universal joint because I wanted to warranty it. hehe.

rjf - Real trucks are Built Not Bought, right... /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Your dodge is alright... Its no GM but it is better than a ford...

Anyways, this is CK5. We place a premium on GM's that are built by their owners. I suggest you try This forum instead /forums/images/graemlins/deal.gif /forums/images/graemlins/hack.gif /forums/images/graemlins/weld.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grind.gif

[/ QUOTE ] I have news for you. Real trucks are bought first and then they are, modified, borrowed, lenned, rented, rebuilt, and anything else you can think of a truck can be.

[/ QUOTE ] Solid Dana 60 front axle? medium duty inline 6 diesel? Lever shifted transfer case? 4 link coiled front suspension? Black leather in an '01? For surely isn't a late GM then....Yep, it must be a dodge.

[/ QUOTE ] I have more news for you. No owner "built" his truck regardless of what manufacturer made it. If you really think about it the majority of us are playing legos and are just piecing the best parts GM made along with aftermarket parts, into a GM built vehicle. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif There are for surely some totally custom parts out there that many guys have here along with some good modifications to the factory GM and aftermarket parts and am definantly not discrediting them but I am speaking of the majority of modified GM vehicles.

Oh, and I'm not going anywhere. I have a K5 that I "played legos" with myself and jump at the chance to show it off but couldn't in this thread because of the request for pickups only, but I doubt you noticed. Have a truely wonderfull day. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
