I may be swapping to a q-jet since, as carbs go, they have a good reputation for wheeling (especially compared to my current Holley).

I'm curious about how folks plumbed the carb and regulator. Any pics? Any trick parts? Looking for clean, neat set ups.

Fyi, my fuel lines (feed & return) currently come from behind the intake but can be rerouted.

I ran a mechanical fuel pump 110gph? that required no regulator.

How did your q-jet perform at Moab? Did it do ok on the climbs and such or did it give you trouble?

I have a JET stage 3 quad...It gave me some trouble on the tough to climb stuff, like Chewy and Potato salad hill.
Performs awesome on the other stuff though. If I can't get it worked out better, I will have FI sometime in the future.
It stalled out on me here:

This particular climb it was fine, but we came back later and played on it some more, and gave me problems a couple different tries, pretty much when the back tires just started to climb, but a couple other tries it was fine..:dunno:
