I got half the propane stuff I ordered today. Still waiting on the tank. Got some go fast new valve covers installed..pretty sure I increased Ned's top speed and 1/4 mile times.

You only gained 1/4 mile with those valve covers???
Threw in a second tranny cooler and rerouted some hose..this one is a heat exchanger..so fluid goes thru filter, thru heat exchanger, thru external cooler with fan and then back to transmission. Tranny temp gauge never got above 220 on gauge..fluid I lost floor was still nice and purple.
Eric showed up and today we busted out work on Ned. Got the tank in, changed some tube and redid a few mounts.
I need friends...

Looks great. Tanks looks right at home. If you get bored ... there is plenty of work to do here in Hillsboro.

He's a cop. He can't do burnouts. They put implants in his feet that sense pressure on both feet at the same time. It reports directly to the chief.

Oh and just in case you were wondering, I know someone is, we let the air out of the ORIs so this is full static bump. And we have a good 4" of clearance between the tank and anything else.

It took me a few minutes to spot that. I knew you guys weren't going to use the tank as a bumpstop.

So Eric and I were talking while we were welding, trying to figure out why my welder wasn't working right and how come I can't weld for shart.. sometimes it would do a good pass but most of the time it just couldn't..long story short..don't use an extension cord on a 110 welder. now it rips. So then I ask him if he can see the weld line thru my helmet when the puddle is going? cause I can't. I figured I was just getting old..He says nope sometimes it disappears...So apparently my helmet is done...fast forward to getting the suburban at Sean's..He's going to welding school and busts out this new helmet to show us. We both try it on.. its insane..So I got one too...bonus is my Halo scores should go up too
