Anyone an artist in any form?
(Except the lame forms)
I am. Who's asking?
Me. I want to see other people on here draw/paint/write.
In my ever present state of insecurity and self analysis, I may be doing it as a "dick measuring thing (I'd lose THAT game)" but I'd like to see regardless.
That's why i had that Stave art contest
Which I won
Cause I rock
i'll post a picture tomorrow. im good.
Your confidence makes me happy
I haven't drawn anyting in quit a while, but I will try to scan my last few drawings for you. One is now a tattoo on my arm.
Hard to believe but I took a lot of art in High School and college. Majored in architectural design. I draw a little with the kids nowadays. Was told by a couple of different teachers in high school that I ought to think about writing as a career. Haven't written anything since high school, though.
Did you say "write"? Here's one for you to look at and tear to shreds:
I'd C&P the entire thing here, but it is lengthy, and, well, probably pretty boring.
This is a close up photo of one section of one of my paintings. My '73 International and one of my campers made it into this one.
And heres another part of it:
Since it's so close, you see the imperfections. It looks decent overall from a few feet back. I painted this one in 10th grade I think. I first started painting with oil in 5th grade, then kept painting up through a few years back. This one is acrylic paint. I haven't painted a picture in a long while now.
In high school, the art teacher just let me take art class on my own, and I just painted. I also got the job of painting all outdoor scenery backdrops for the Drama plays. Everyone knew my paintings, cause they usually had mountains in them all. What a surprise, huh?
Allan, that's very nice
Nice painting dood....
Why thank you. It was nothin.
I know, back to my hole.
By the way Allan, that really is a pretty cool paintin ya got there.
Oh and RJ, do you include scenic artists? That's what I do. For plays and such like that.
yes, architectural designer.
I drew a picture but forgot I dont have a scanner. So I will do one in paint tonight...
