size tires:lift size ?

so i have been shopping for lifts and they range from 2" up to 12"

so can any one tell me what is the largest size tire i can fit under a stock 79 jimmy and then the largest tire for a 2" lift then 4" list and so on?

You can fit 44's with no lift with enough

Do a little trimming and tires will fit great!
Here's a general idea of what will fit with a little trimming (from Skyjacker's website):

If ya trim more or lift more, obviously bigger tires will fit! BUT, do not forget to upgrade your drivetrain and braking system to handle the bigger tires!
