Well i called around town today and no one has 1/4 in steel in plano.

Anyone got some 1/4 they need to get rid of?????

If not i need a skidplate for my np241 and i guess i can just beef it up.

I dont know why but whover owend my car before my took all the skid plates off :(

thaks guys

Since you have a '91, those plates were kind of thin. I've got a few of them if you prefer thin over thicker. If not, a thick one can be fabbed easily. :cool1:

I've got a 4' x 6' chunk of 1/4" plate sitting in Central oregon. Which reminds me I need to go pick it up and get it out of my friends yard before it walks off...

I would sell you a chunk but it's about 4 hours from home right now... makes it a little hard to do much with it for now. Do you have any recycling places around you? Should not be too hard to find a piece of steel at one of those places.

Heck even Home Depot and the local Ranch/Farm stores around here sell small pieces of steel flat bar that would work for what you want. Though I guess it might be hard to find it 1/4" thick at those places.

i can get it at lowes and homedepot, but they only have it in 12" by 4" pieces

each piece is 23 bucks

Let me check our welding shop at work..........

I know there has to be some scrap laying around somewhere. How do you ship steel?

dam i didnt think about shipping, but its not too expensive then ill deff go for it. all i need is about 2 sq ft.

I find it VERY hard to believe no one in plano carrus 1/4". For mine I used 6"x1/4". You dont need a 4'x4' sheet ya know :D

thanks guys and i looked thru another phone book and i found a place but they are an hour away.

ill call them up tomarro

Oh crap! I totally forgot to check for the scrap at our welding shop. :doah:
