skyjacker SOFTRIDE lift kits

i will be in the market to upgrade my lift kit from blocks to springs ive been hereng good things about the skyjacker softride springs and i wanted to know if anybody has any experience with skyjackers lift kits for our k5,s and how the ride quality is with these springs.

I have a Skyjacker 8 inch softride lift on my 81 Suburb that I put in 10 yrs ago, and my girlfriend commented on how it rode just as nice as her fullsize 95 blazer. I have since bought a 91 suburb and bought another Skyjacker 8 inch kit to go in it. I bought it a truckaddons, cause they have all sorts of discounts and have FREE shipping.

If your concerned about ride quality, why not do a shackle flip? It'll ride superior to any lift spring...

I bought a 85 k5 with 1 tons and a 8 inch sky jacker "soft ride" lift on it .... its as soft as a brick ill tell you that much i have pretty decent flex up front so ill leave that be for now but the rear is awful it barely moves and ive been working the suspension over measuring for new shocks the last few days.

I ordered 4 inch lift bds rear springs and a diy shackle flip to fix up the rear and retain the 8 inch lift im fully expecting it to perform and ride tons better than it does now.
