Sloppy, scary steering

Best time spent here would be to take a video of everything moving up front and post it up. That lets us see what's moving, if you have any caster, etc.

Measure the toe with a tape measure at the front and back of the tires. Take a pry bar to the ball joints to look for play. How old are the front axle U-joints? When they start to freeze up they can make the steering feel really jerky.

I wonder if that is not a raised steering arm, but just a normal one with some stupid rubber spacers under it... dayum. I'm going to go find out in a little bit.

You guys have no idea how happy I will be if this is it.
Should be happy nobody tried to take that thing for a long ride! Wow!

Remember the old website called scarysteering.com?
Those photos of the stacked arms earns a place if that site is still up

They may not be moving around (yet?), but the long bolts through the stack is not nearly as secure as the proper studs and cones setup. Just imagine them coming out or breaking while on the road.

Hopefully the knuckle hasn't been rethreaded.
