Slot wheels on Craigslist

Considering they don't come around very often if you want them you should get them. They have a little bit of road rash on the edges but not bad. They are the wider ones also.

there is at least 2 different types of wheels there...look at the depth of the mounting flange, the height of the bead on the outer lip, and the contour of the slots themselves...
I have a mixed set of slots myself, and it has been a challenge to find the correct setup for the lugnuts because two of mine take a specific type of shank style nut...for more info on all that see my build thread.
Anyway, looks like they are all shank type lugnuts, but you may have to do some real homework to get the right profile on the lugnuts.
Here is where I finally found the right stuff for my setup...

Could be. The third pic is at a farther distance making it look different. I'd look at them and check the backspacing and thickness of the lug holes on them and see if they are the same.

I have the six lug versions 15x10 and am in need if 1 due to having one that is bent.

I passed on a set of 8 Luggers at a junk yard and regret it.

make sure they say western wheel on the back side if you want the good big money ones.

the cheeper low doller / quality ones back then were not as nice . I had a set once and sold them .

here is my western wheel ones.

single pic old n dirty from sitting for over 20+ years .

last pic cleaned up with scotch bright pad and some wheel cleaner acid .

Thank you all for the really helpful insights. I even have to drive about an hour and a half one way to go pick them up so they'd really better be a good set if I want to do this. I've always loved those slots since I was a kid, and told myself I'd have a set some day so hopefully here's my chance.

That 3rd photo sure does cast a bit of doubt for sure if they're all from the same set. The guy even told me he had another set on his other truck and these he's selling are even in better condition but he won't swap his tires and go thru the hassle to change around since the others are on his DD. Wonder if he's got a few mixed from his two sets?

Thanks again everyone.

update

Just spoke to him and he noticed exactly what you pointed out Zimmer. Turns out it is 1 of the 4 rims is a mismatch, but you really have to look to tell. He says he never even noticed until I pointed it out to him.

And the brand of the 3 is Superior Industries, a "Super drag 1" model apparently. The 4th doesn't seem to have any brand info.

But he did confirm that all 4 are the same size for certain and 4 3/4 backspacing each.

I told him I'd have to think about it, but all in all this is not really sounding like a good find anymore.

Thanks again to all for the heads up.
