Hello, I have a 1972 Cevrolet suburban that is stock, with a 350+SM465+NP205, It has 4.10 rear gears and running on the freeway for any lenght of time is a pain. So I am looking at swapping in a NV4500 to replace the SM465. I thought that GM for a couple of years offered the NV4500+NP205 in one ton trucks for a couple of years, but I can't find any referance on line to confirm that this is ture and what year trucks they came in. I like the idea of staying with as much factory parts, hence the desire for a factory 4500+205. Does anyone know if this was a factory combo ? , Also what is the best way to mate the nv4500 to the back of the 350 with most all the existing clutch linkage ? Thanks Mike D.
