Small Th350 bolt unidentified, where does it go?

I Keep my parts seperated when I work on stuff. Did my first tranny rebuild on a th350 few months ago and forgot I had this last small bolt left over till today. Tranny is already bolted up. It is about 1 1/4" long, 3/16" diamter or 12-28, has a 9/32" head. Can't imagine it went inside the tranny. Checked all exterior holes, modulator, kick down and such and there all accounted for. Has a ~9.8 on the head.

It's been quite a while since I've had one apart, but I'd guess a valvebody bolt.

Isn't that a metric bolt, and thread. I thought th350s had all.sae.hardware

I would also agree that it's either a valve body bolt or the bolt that holds the filter in place.

THats a metric bolt. Work on anyithng metric?

All internal bolts on the 350 are standard, only the kickdown cable , speedometer hold down and mounts bolts were metric and not till the late 70's.
