what is the smallest amount of lift i need to run 33x12.50s with out rubbing on a 72?
all I did was cut the front bottom corners of the front fenders. /forums/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif. of course when i got my 71, the front springs were sagging @ 2 &1/2 inches. The idiot that I bought the truck from had almost 4 inches of add-a-leaf in the rear. so you could imagine the low-rider rake that it had /forums/images/graemlins/ignore.gif /forums/images/graemlins/ignore.gif anyway, when I fixed the suspension problems the 33's fit fine
www.tuffcountry.com has 2" lift springs front and rear. Their front springs come in two rates like 495 and 550 one has 3 leaves the other 4. ORD sells them and has a Holiday special 5% off.
I have run 33x12.5-15's with no lift at all on a 72 k10 and they never hit. Had 15 x 8.5 rims
I'm running 33X12.50-15's on 8" steel wheels - no lift - no problems........
35's...no lift...lotsa sawzall!!
