Snorkel-in cab

I didn't pay any of the pics much attention yet because my AC stuff is in the way but yes, running only as far as the cowl was what I was talking about doing. I've been in full on downpours, had snow packed on the hood and even washed water over the hood multiple times with the setup I have in my Heep. I would expect an equally trouble-free installation in my truck. I've really gotta check that out. We're supposed to finally get some good weather in a couple days.

ya it looks to be pretty easy to just run the a tube to the wiper valley on a k5...im just curious if the intake will suck moisture/water when it snows/rains. what u guys think?

For all you guys running your intake into the cab, have you thought about whats gonna happen if the engine backfires?? no way I'd ever route my intake into the passenger compartment.

or run a cowl with a sealed tube from carb. and and make a screen? im not looking to do deep water crossing when water is over hood just somting to keep from watter login filter and drown motor while goin fast through deep mud/water fast
