i'll bring one pallet as that's all i can fit in the k5 plus couple bundle of store bought wood. i perfer cold beer, the brand? Bud i reckon cause i didn't see serria nevada pale ale on the list. i'll bring some "other" refreshments also. see you guys Friday night aboot 8:30 er so, we'll look fer the glow, eh?

Hey, any wood you can bring is wood we will burn!! And as for the beer, we have Keith bringing his "home brew" keg of something along the lines of an India Pale Ale...other than that, just bring whatever you like! Yes, hopefully by 8:30 we will have a nice fire going! We will have to find a few rocks to make a fire ring, or just dig a small pit I guess...
 
We don't need a pit, we'll just take the top off of a blazer and use that.

So I thought I was completely done with the truck, but now I have a ticking sound coming from the drivers side brakes. Back to work I guess.

Matt(babey blue) will be meeting us at 6Am also. He's bringing his dad too.

I just wanted to let everyone know that I WILL be bringing my Two 5 Gallon Kegs of HomeBrew. I will bet that not everyone will like this beer and those that do will have no trouble finishing it completely. So you might want to make sure that you DO bring some of your favorite beverage just incase we run out or you don't care for it. And if you don't like it, don't tell me. Just pour whats left of your glass into my glass and walk away.

For those of you coming out in the dark you can look for a Motorhome pulling a white trailer that saya <font color=red>SLUTS R US</font color=red> on the side of it. I will also be putting up a red blinking light above it so you can look for that also.

Well, I have to go shoping. See ya all around the 10:00 to 11:00 on Friday morning or later.

Awesome!! 15 more minutes and I am outta here! Oh, and that rumor about a camerman? Yes, we will have a professional camerman (make that two!) out there doing a movie of our travels!! And my friend Ryan plans on making tapes of it (a la Rick Russell series) for some of his vendors and sponsors to promote! Should be kickass!!

Thanks again Keith for the beer, I can't wait to try it! Well, I guess this is it til I see everyone tomorrow! Hope everyone has a good, safe trip out there! Bring lots of water (hangovers in the desert can be brutal!), sun protection and of course a chair to sit around the fire with!

PS- if anyone is bringing gas cans with them, you should probably fill them up before you get to Indio area, as the prices are higher out there. And make sure you have lots of ice, that sun is going to be warm!
 
I aint gonna be able to make it.My work decided to give me fri off but not sat.I had sat but they took it from me and I didnt notice.Sorry to cancel on such short notice.

I'll be in el centro earlier on friday. We are planning on meeting somewhere in el centro. Check out my pics to see my blazer, it has the top on though. BigBlue is also leaving from El Cajon.

what time is good for you?? I will be in el centro on friday. I will be free after 5pm and have to get some things ready still. I found the bang that is caused when i turn. I may have to grind something. Maybe we can meet on imperial ave.

Got my rims on. Grinded about 3/4 of my caliper to get her on there biut I HAVE WHEELS now. Last thing is a new steering stablizer and I am there...

I'm all packed up, gassed up and ready to go. It was idling funny when I got home, then seemed to go away?? Whatever, I can deal with it this weekend if I have to...I need some sleep!!

Good luck to everyone on their trips, drive safely and let's have a great weekend! I got the stickers from Jeff today (just in time - whew!), they look great! I cheated and have mine on the truck already!

Also, just a reminder to all of you planning on coming out Saturday - please be at the camp by 8:30 AM or so, that way we can plan on leaving for the trails somewhere after 9:00 or so...I don't want to leave anyone behind!! If you can, tell someone on this board who is going so that they can tell us who is coming and at what times, ok?? See ya!

I'll be done with what i have to do around 4:30pm also. we'll have to wait for some people from san diego, hoserr and bigblue. i PMed hoserr, no response yet. but if you see this hoserr give me a call. i emailed you my number.

i guess a good guestimate on departure time would be 6:45pm from el centro. we still meeting at the same place?? post directions.

ARQ , HOSERR , BIGBLUE- GO I-8 east till u get to DOGWOOD ROAD EXIT , its right after imperial ave exit , so exit on DOGWOOD turn left go over the overpass follow thru the light , and up on the RIght there will be a big purple post with the business name on it WYMORE INC.we have a large american flag on the side of the building hard to miss . i should be there with a bay door open , pm me if need more or better directions

Well I'm hoping everyone got home safe and in one piece. I made it home in an awesome 2 1/2 hours with one stop. Thank you to everyone who was out there that made this such an awesome wheeling experience. It was a pleausure meeting everyone and hopefully we can do it all again soon.

Special Thanks to Keith P. for putting it all together for us and for those awesome stickers. GREAT JOB KEITH!!

Also thanks to Keith V. for the generousity with your home brew. That's gonna have to be a part of Blazer-Safari every year.

Great trip! I had a lot of fun, took it a little harder than I was ready for and best of all came home without any desert damage! Theres definately a good bunch of guys involved with this group, and I'll be sending in my membership dues immediately! I look forward to the next one, and will definately be more prepared to get a little more agressive by then!

I've got some great footage by the way, I'll throw up pictures tomorrow and perhaps some streaming video clips of some of the fun if I have time!

Thanks Esteban, I wish I would have been there to. Looks like you guys have a lot of fun. I wanted to catch you guys on the convoy in the morning but ran late moving, I had just finished moving everything into that new place in Long Beach at 7:30 am Friday, then finish packing by 8:30, I had everthing pretty much ready, I take off, and making decent time, then about 8 miles on the 86S the tranny blows, damn!! Oh well shite happens, It was very cool running into Marv Springer, FWP, AZBlazer and company what a great bunch of people here on CK5. I was hoping to wheel with you guys, I was a bit heartbroken[sad], but Ill be ready for the next run! Where are we going? Thanks again guys for stoping by!
