pm box is full, i am looking for crossover / hydo steer kits.
Wheels/tires/TBI motor could be on my list.
Hummers/Barts/York compressor/Optima batt's...
Dibs on the Beards for sure.
Let it sit and buy a trailer. That rig is worth more than 6K. If you have to sell it sell it complete. You don't need to undo all the work you have put into it so that you can lose money.
12 bolt h1s, xj shaft,ORD brace, and the motor, how much?
PM box emptied, I forgot I had about 150 old messages in there.
Please try again.
My only pics of her wheeling...
Two of the entrance to the trail and two where I snapped a stub on a wet rock and slid into a tree. That ended my day since 3 wheel drive proved useless on wet rock and I didn't bring spares.
Thanks for the encouragement. You're right and it's hard to even have the idea in my mind since I spent years building this rig and thousands collecting parts. Now it's a slap in the face because it sits in my driveway waiting for thieves... As much as I don't want to let it go it seems like I'd be better off selling it than letting someone steal it or parts from it.
people would steal parts off it in your driveway?
Not yet, someone got my quad a few years ago (on my birthday! ) Since then I'm paranoid about anything I have being stolen. I noticed a lot of trucks stopping to look at my rig in the yard lately and decided to take my tires off and lock everything down with 5/16" cable. It might not stop anyone but it makes me feel better at night.
What's your zip code?
I'll do a map quest to find out how far away from central VT you are.
What condition are the seats? Pics of the seats available?
Are you parting out for cash or starting another build?
Need any parts? TPI? Stuff?
(have cash, just checking on the trade thang )

Seats are in excellent condition. I don't have pics at the moment.
I don't need any TPI stuff but I am interested in old hot rod parts from the 1930's-1960's for my 1940 Nash.
Parting this thing out is the last option on my list right now as I don't have the time to ship parts out or the space to dismantle an entire rig. As it is my neighbors and the town are giving me a hard time for the fact that it has no tires on it (took them off in fear of theives).
Your about three hours away, let me know when/if your going to start to actually pull off the parts.
Wish you could keep it but if you don't I'm all over the seats.
Most people are telling me to keep it, there hasn't been a huge demand for parts at this point. I'll keep this post updated when I make a final decision.
I vote for keeping it too.
x2... i would keep it too. you'll be pissed when spring hits and its time to go muddin and you got 1/2 a truck from parting it out.
May be a shot in the dark, but do you have a transfer case crossmember that would work for the new style (circular 85+?) NP205 behind a TH400 and/or shifter that would fit that combo? Thanks.
I had one but someone already grabbed it a few months ago. I'll keep an eye out for another one.
