im still waiting to get my 60 back but other than that im ready to roll. what do you think?

sold the 35s to one of the few local ck5'ers. the rims are 15x10 3" BS
 
So do you have any idea what your bumper height is gonna end up at? You know even with those truck plates on what VA considers a passenger vehicle, max bumper height is gonna be 31" for you. I imagine they are pretty strict up there in NOVA...
 
haha yea its going to be around 37" or so. i know a couple guys rolling around on jeeps with 39s and bronco on 38s and have only been hassled 1 time. i hope as long as i dont do anything stupid they will leave me alone.

What are you gonna do about Inspection? You have a 'source' I hope?
 
im going to put 31s on it, then ill be around 30" or so and shouldnt have any problem
 
any trimming in the future?, u have to make those 42" tsl and 8" springs functionable,right?:wink1:
 
yea theres definitely going to be trimming, im going to try to make it as clean as possible tho. i bought the 8" springs before i knew anything. eventually i will go with 4" lift 56ers and 4" shackle flip in the rear, then 4" 52s up front. wish i had done that the first time around....im still learning

Just be careful even with small tires on it you could be at risk... In my years working at the shop Ive seen a few trucks failed because of "suspension alterations".. Some inspectors use this part of the code to fail trucks with big lifts..'No part of the original suspension system of a motor vehicle shall be disconnected to defeat the safe operation of its suspension system.' Just watch out for the pricks that look for stuff to fail.. :wink1:
 
thanks for the heads up, last time i had it inspected, it had 4" lift and 35s, hopefully ill have some good luck on my side.

...and knowing is half the battle.
 
Just so you know they cannot reject your truck for being to tall . There is no height limit for state inspection
