Cummins PT injection is Pressure Time injection. Cummins original form of common rail with unit injectors.
is that what I have? Not sure if the photo is enough to tell you?

Pretty bad picture of it. But looks like a PT pump. You can turn those up.
A quick google search shows that's probably what I have according to what I've seen. Pretty neat theory of operation! Will it literally be a timing thing on the pump? I read somewhere about fuel buttons? sorry for the questions, this big truck stuff is new to me. side note: got your response to my pm. Nothing complete that's good to go, I had some odds and ends kicking around, but it doesn't seem like anything I have will fit anything your doing.

Sure cool. Don't worry about the fuel button. There is an anti tamper ball made of steel in the Center of the external throttle shaft. Remove that/ drill it out. There is a hex head set screw in the Center of the shaft. That is your fuel control. Loosen the lock nut, give it one turn to the left. And go from there. That's the fuel screw.
