I'm about to do a tune up on my 77 K5 with a 350. I've got AC Delco plugs and I was told the recomended gap is 45 thousandths. What do y'all run your plugs gapped at? What does opening up or closing the gap more do for performance. Thanks guys!

I just replace my plugs and with autolite plugs....I gapped at 50 per the suggestion of the guy at napa....
from my understanding the more gap the greater spark and hoter the plug will run....this will decrease the life of the pluge somewhat but should provide better spark...

I dont know who true this is but thats what I was told...
