Hey does anyone know if ORD can make the shackle bushings with a 5/8 insert instead on the normal size? Has anyone done something similar? I have a 5/8 hole in my flips, well at least I do now and need went and bought the new grade 8 bolts for it and realized I needed new bushings /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif so now you see were Im sitting at... HELP!!!!

DOAH!!! I had the wrong forum I seen the presented by ORD and thought this was the ORD forum guess its helpful to look first LOL Thanks...

If you know the exact dimentions of the bushing you need you can contact Daystar in Phoenix AZ. They are ORD supplier and make thousands of bushings. They do not have any info on what bushing fits what though so they may not be able to help unless you have a part number. Stephen may know exactly what bushing you need though by its part number. If Stephen can't help you Daystar might be able to.

Or you could just go to home depot and drill out the bushing...

I made bushings out of a solid bar of urethane not too long ago since I couldn't find any in the size I needed local:

The urethane dept. of course /forums/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif Actually Home Depot doesn't sell it. I bought it at an industrial plastic supply place here local, they sell rems just like the steel shop does. I bought a foot of it for like $5.

I didn't think home depot would have them.

Even so, milling your own bushings is awesome. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

I ended up at JC Whitney and just paid $29.95 for 6 bushings/sleeves. I didn't think that was so bad.
