Spicer hub lovers Page

Ah yes, now I see the cutouts. Pieces all look similar otherwise though.

I was thinking that the copper washers probably can't be that hard to find/make, but o-rings are often hard to precisely match up if you can't go into a place that carries a selection.

@dyeager535 You might look in to service parts for Yukon hubs, their design is a very close copy of Spicer hubs.

Unfortunately all the pics in the linked thread are dead (thanks Photobucket) but does anyone have a source for parts 2, 4, and 6 in the diagram two posts above by sweetK30?

I don't know if they are any different, but the hubs I have are most likely originally off a 1/2 ton D44, yellow knob.
Found my sets are complete with the factory o rings. I'll see if I can match them up with something since I have the originals to compare with

That would be awesome. Short of pulling mine apart (which is coming, but would like to keep them together until I can replace the seals), I've got Yukon tech support (Randy's R&P it seems?) waiting on the o-ring dimensions, to see if theirs are compatible. Their hubs certainly look like clones of the spicers...

Haven't been able to get a perfect match yet. The one around the chrome part of the hun is awfully thin

I've tried looking o-rings up before, they can be a real pain if they aren't "common" ones. Anxiously awaiting!

If you can get me either the o ring dimensions, or groove dimensions, i can work out the o ring size for you.
