Spilled brake fluid on carpet:

If it's the carpet in the truck just take the carpet out and rinse it out. Brake fluid is water soluble.

i got some brake fluid on the carpet. Fortunately not too much, but more than a few drips.

Any suggestions?

is this in the truck, or the house?? either way, water, water, then some soap and water, then get the soapy water out with water.

if its in your truck, just undo the nearest trim and/or pull a seat out so you can lift it up and put a towel under it- then you can pour water on it, scrub, and blot it.

if in your house, dunno- rent a steam cleaner?

Flush it with some water and suck it back out with a shop vac. Keeps from needing a carpet cleaner.
