So I've been wanting to upgrade my style of spindle nut to the newer style. I currently have the one that you have to bend the ears up on and it's a "1 time use thing"... I want the newer style with the nut, square key and retainer spring.

Found a pair off of an Dodge AAM 11.5 for super cheap (new for the whole setup I'm looking a $70.00 - $80.00).

They look exactly the same so I figured I'd try them but wanted to know if they're the same thing,,?

Attached is a pic of the ones from the Dodge 113.5 axles that I'm looking at purchasing .

Seems like it will work. They have the same thread size/pitch according to the links. The socket used will need the edges rounded to fit.

Here is a 14bff old style:

Here on AAMs site you can find they use the same one in both dodge 11.5 and chevy 10.5 and 11.5. They show the same thread size. I say go for it if the price is cheap.
