spool vs. mini spool

    i'm thinking about upgrading from limited slip to a spool or mini spool. witch one is better. my truck has a 10 bolt rear. also been thinking about getting a spool or mini spool for the front diff with locking hubs. please reply with opion or ideas for the front diff. /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif

    get a mini spool, take the open diff from the front and put it in the rear with the mini spool, and put the rear lsd in the front.

    You dont want to put a full spool in the rear since you will have to run c-clip eliminators. the eliminator leaks, and arent really that strong. Mini spools are are not that strong on the dtreet. I blew up a strange mini spool for a 12 bolt. That was in my gutted blazer on 35s. My blazer was really light since I rolled it and got rid of almost everything.
