I want to run a Spool in the rear, any other drawbacks than running a Detroit?
I heard about these and did some reading on them. They will keep your wheels locked together all the time and some articles say that this will cause your turning radius to get a little bigger and premature tire wear. How they compare to the detriot i have no idea.

Spools. They permanatly lock your tires together. Your rear tires will always spin together... forever. They wont be able to differentiate when you turn therefore making a SCREECH.
Put 30 pouds into your tires and drive and that will help of course since your tires cant dif your turning circle will be bigger. Auto lockers will lock when you press the gas. When you let off the locker unlocks and sometimes will get anoying like when switching lanes turning etc. SO if you turn let off the gas or when you change lanes keep the gas constant.
IMO if you get an ARB thats the best... disappear on the street and you engage it off raod and it acts liek a spool.

I am putting one in my Jimmy. I have driven around in alot of cars with them and I like having the tires locked at all times. Much more traction.
