Hi Everyone, There has to be a trick or special tool to press in the bushings. Not the bushings and caps that bolt it to the frame but where the bar bolts to the leaf spring caps. This one has me stumped! I've reached out to local guys for advise and have received some, now its time to post here and see what the rest of the country says, or internationally.
Please see the pics. I've tried a ball joint press but cant begin to get these bushings moving. I purchased the first set from LMC, I thought there was no way these were correct so I purchased a set of Precession from O'Reilly's, they are the same size and MUCH larger than the receiving port in bar.
If you have installed these bushings successfully before please let me know how you did it.
At this point, I am happy to PAY to have installed. If you are close to Waterloo, IL or even St. Louis, MO area let me know I'm happy to travel a reasonable distance.

This is a continuation of my previous post about distance between tire and fender. New springs, shackles, U-bolts etc.

Thank you for taking the time to read.

First, measure the OD of the sway bar. It should be 1 1/4". ( There are 1 1/16" out there, but rare)
Second, I have not seen an aftermarket one piece bushings for these, usually it's two piece.
I used this kit from ORD on my '85 and it was perfect:

cheavk10, Thank you so much! Yes, my bar is 1 1/4 OD, damn, these would be awesome! There is only one other post online about these bushings, he had to take his to a shop to have pressed in, hell I cant find a shop that can do it! This is the answer, ordering now Thank you so MUCH!

I am not at all familiar with OffRoad Design, have you had good luck with shipping? I just ordered everything and created an account. Thank you again!

I've never had a problem with shipping from ORD. And, at this point both of my square body's have a ton of their parts lol.

Some of us should have stock in offroad design the amount of money we have spent . Great place to deal with 1,000%
