Stephen ??? shackle flip vs. lift

I want to get about a 6.5 or 7" lift on the rear of my 73 GMC Jimmy. i was wondering what whould be better if i was going to get superlift springs. i am choosing between a 2.5 shackle flip and 4" lift or 4" shackle flip and 2.5" lift? thanks to anybody who wants to help me out.

Since you are going with a shackle flip already, I would go with the 4" flip and 2.5" lift springs. This way the springs have less arch to them, offering a better ride and more flex.

That's pretty much the way to go, keep the spring as flat as possible and you'll be in good shape.
