sub side panels?

    i have seen guys put subwoofers in new side panels
    what does this require>?
    i jsut got a soft top and this looks like a good idea for me. and would putting the amp on the inside of the panel be good so its not seen?

    I did that, put 10" MTX Thunder woofs in custom fabricated 5/8" particle board side panels. Look at the pics on my website (click on link below) and look at the interior page. I also put my amp in there on the drivers side, have had some responses saying the heat would be a problem, but after having had this Fosgate amp for 12 years in various mounting situations with no problems, I am not going to worry about it. If it fries, I got 12 good years out of it, and their amps are basically indestructible anyway. Plus it keeps the amp out of eyesight, etc., away from thieves..........ya know?
