Suburban seats in a crewcab?

so, will 87 suburban front buckets bolt into my 88 crewcab easily, other than drilling more holes for the inner bolts? looking for something a little more comfortable and adjustable than the vinyl bench I currently have. the junkyard has a suburban with buckets, probably gonna take a look at them thursday.
I'm assuming these seats are fairly comfortable, anyone? thanks.

frts bolt in basicly rear? dont know my self.

you will need the frt inner support brackets that are spot welded to the floor pan.

dang I need to buy membership, gettin tired of not seeing pics. what do you mean by rear? I'm trying to put them in the front. so theres a bracket spotwelded into the suburban floor if it had buckets? i'll have to bring a drill I guess.

It is... a kind of... Each bucket have 4 points on floor, where they mounting with screws. 3 of them, are holes, with nuts welded under the floor, but the 4-th, have a kind of bracket, welded on floor, with nut welded inside of the bracket.
I have buckets, in my truck and I make some pictures, inside, with empty floor. Look to the image oo9, 012 and 018, to make your own ideea. In pictures, you can se the holes and the bracket. Good luck!

Yes, I must make some "repairs", to the body panels and LH front frame (steering gear area).

Resurrecting this thread.

I'm wanting to do four buckets and two consoles in the Crewcab. I keep hearing it mentioned but I haven't seen it in a square body....yet.

I used the original crew cab seat brackets and welded a frame to them to use for mounting buckets. But mine are PRP buckets, not factory. Without having actually laid eyes on it, I'm still pretty certain the rear seat in the crew cab is going to be different from the suburban.

I don't think the floor pans of the suburbans are shaped anything like crew cabs because the crew cab has the recesses under the seats to clear the saddle tanks. Even though the saddle tank only sits under the rear seat, the front seats have the same indent. It looks a lot like the crew cab has 2 regular cab floor pans seamed together just behind the front seat. In fact there is a seam there and I'm pretty sure that's how they did it.

I'll be broke for a good while after purchasing my Crewcab but I was thinking of finding something from the salvage yard common enough to have duplicate sets of seats and use those. I need COMFORT for road trips and nothing says comfort to me like a captains chair and an arm rest.
