sway bar bushings

It got a little looser then I'd like under acceleration ...came off a bridge and hit a slight dip in the road and Damm near changed lanes into the guard rail..

Almost felt like tire was gonna roll like it was under inflated ..but it isnt

my money is your front bearings are loose - had similar experience, same, coming off a bridge and hit the approach slab bump and everything goes all over the place; easy fix, take the locking hub off (or full time of you have that) and use the special socket to tighten the nut (a screw driver, hammer, and light tapping works in a pinch). I think it is a nut and a lock nut. So you have to pull the first nut off to get to the one you tighten. Best if you have the tire off. You can read up and watch videos - I tighten it until there is some drag turning the rotor and then back off a bit. If your bearings are that loose you probably need to check them for damage and repack them anyways. That is a bigger job but not a big deal.

EDIT: Could be a few other things too - to check the bearings lift the tire off the ground and grab it top and bottom and see if it moves; I'd also get someone to watch your steering components as you turn the wheel back and forth and see what is moving or not moving. If nobody wants to help (I have cousins like that) maybe just set your phone down and video the linkage as you turn.

When my truck had a failing axle u-joint (the needles all came out and it was all rusty),the truck started doing a weird "pull"to one side then dart the other way rapidly, usually after taking a corner and accelerating normally..even in 2wd with the hubs not locked..

At first I thought it was loose drag link ends, replaced those, they were a tad sloppy, but it made hardly and difference--I checked the frame for cracks at the steering box, nothing wrong there, all the bolts were tight too,no loose rivets on the front crossmembers either..steering box was OK as far as excess free play or "tight spots"..

To me it felt like there was someone at the other end of the steering colum trying to steer in the opposite direction as I took the corner, then it would swerve back into the lane..

It only did this once in a while, but was un-nerving enough to demand immediate rectification..I didn't want to end up bouncing off an oncoming vehicle or hitting one head on..

After I decided not to risk plowing a whole winter with a U-joint ready to pop,I decided to replace it...and the truck has not done that weird steering BS ever since..its possible the wheel bearings on the same side were a tad too loose too..
