TBI engine: 2-bolt or 4-bolt?

91 350 TBI: is it a 2-bolt or 4-bolt?

2 bolt. Haven't seen a TBI 4 bolt yet myself. People get too hung up on 2 bolt vs 4 bolt. Unless you are building a 550HP motor 2 bolt is perfectly fine.

i think you can get a kit to make a 2 bolt a 4, and it is supost to be stronger i think

splayed 4 bolt setup. I may do that to my 383(tbi 2 bolt base block) but I might be throwing nitrous at that so you know.

Depends on what it came in . Every 3/4 Ton truck with C6P option and every 1 Ton TBI truck I have torn down has come with 4 bolt mains on a 350.
I do agree with build the 2 bolt block if you got it - most folks that feel they NEED a 4 bolt block will do just fine with out them.

The motor that came out of my 90 3/4 burb was a tbi 4 bolt 350. The guy that bought it said it did not look like an original motor but a crate replacement.
