TBI to TPI conversion

Its all good man - we all have our moments. To Dorian's end though, there is CERTAINLY something to be said for LEARNING and UNDERSTANDING the system 100% prior to hacking and whacking a working system. It took me about 6 months of close studying before I got to where I am today with a GM TBI harness. I know them very well. I can troubleshoot and FIX most any electrical issue on the trail with a meter and a few feet of wire and some electrical tape. Had I just dropped in a painless harness... I am sure that I could not do that.

Now I've bought a damn Jeep, and have to start all over again! Maybe I'll just drop a 350 TBI in there... /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Anyways, good to still see both Dorian and you Kyle out here bickering just like the good ol days!

Take care,
-Dan

Some of us have been around long enough to remember the good 'ol days, kinda /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

I've been meaning to give you grief about the Jeep, but all the jokes are taken. Hell, most of the midwest guys are going either Jeep or cab truck. Must be the water...

I agree, everyone should be able to troubleshoot their junk . I just like an easier initial install harness.

Now, if anyone wants to help me troubleshoot my current problem, I'll move right out from under the hood. Intermitant problems hack me off worse than the truck won't start /forums/images/graemlins/angryfire.gif Intermitant is what will drive me right back to the bottle!!!

Well after all this non-sense above, I forgot what the problem is! What are you having troubles with specifically? What kind of issues are you having? PM me, I'll give you my cell if you want to call!

Thx,
-Dan

Actually, Dorian, I'll be honest, my first reply wouldn't have been friendly face to face either.

Point being, you would never have gotten to that point face to face. Just too easy to get worked up on the internet.

And no, you can't have my phone number, unless I have the option of laughing and going back to sleep.

Tell you what, I'll give you that option, as long as you understand that I will continue to call, OVER and OVER and OVER again till you finally end up DRIVING to Oklahoma if for no other reason than to beat the hell out of me just so I will stop calling /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

My number is 918.808.4576, start ignoring it on Caller ID now /forums/images/graemlins/histerical.gif
