I have been wanting to rework the way I tune TBI for a while now. I finally broke down and bought some gear to flash the stock style chips, so it brought my cost way down.

Stock Performance Tunes - $150 - 24 pin EProm

Once you start modifying the engine the price will change, this is due to the way tuning needs to be done to be correct. At this point the stock socket in the ECM needs to be de-soldered and a new ZIF socket soldered in to accept a EEProm. That way I can tune the modified engines the way they should be.

Guys with the module assembly type ECMs the cost is $180. With this system I send a piggy back and a new flash chip. The piggy back over rides the stock EProm while the knock filter is retained.

This is too good not to share.

One of our Tuned Stock TBI 350 rigs. Lets just say he represented pretty well this year at TTC. 2nd Place!

I sent u a message on Fbook, and an email to your site. I figure u are busy at KOH2016, but when you get back I need a chip.

Motor specs:
383 stroker, flat top pistons, 64cc chamber aluminum heads (around 10.5:1 compression).
Carb edelbrock torker 2 manifold, with an adapter on top for a 454 throttle body.
Headers, roller rockers, etc etc.
EGR and AIR deleted.
Standard 7727 ecm, unmolested.

Truck specs:
88 GMC jimmy, 700r4, 203/205 doubler, rockwells, 44's. Almost 7k lbs (I think).

I still have the stock 350 throttle body. I am not sure which throttle body to use, but I am assuming this will be a 350hp motor, so I picked up a used 454 TB. I don't know enough about tuning tbi to know if I need it or not.

I got a credit card ready for ya when you get the change!!!!!

Thanks
Jeff

I have a 350 that consists of

350 shortblock from a 1990 IROC-Z with flat top pistons
1995 LT1 camshaft (I need to replace)
Vortec heads
GMPP Vortec TBI intake manifold
Holley throttle body
Headers, 2.5" dual exhaust

Previously was a TH700R4 rig, but has an SM465 now.

I would be interested.

Martin

Like the guys above, I am interested as well. Basically all I have is a stock motor with a set of headers, but if I can get it to get a little more power relatively cheap I'm in.

I think you guys know but Josh is at hammers. So probably won't get ya back for a couple days

How much gain can I expect from a tune on a stock 350 with headers and 2.5 dual exhaust?
