TH350 to 700R4

The TH350C in both my Rockwwod camper and the '81 G-10 van had a vacuum/electric switch that controlled the lock up converter...later years may have had it controlled by the computer..

That makes sense since they did start it in 81 but didn't start the CCC carb till 84 I think, that is when they had an ECM and could use it for other things.
I guess we learn till the day we die.
